SMG Successfully Complete Innovate UK 'Railway Construction Innovation' Project

SMG have successfully completed their "Railway construction innovation" project after successfully winning funding in the first phase of the £7.4m Department for Business and Trade competition in partnership with Innovate UK and GCRE. The project saw the successful development, production and deployment of the next generation of MEMS-based gravimeters from SMG. Real-world field surveys were completed internationally and at the GCRE site.  The project close out coincided with an excellent opportunity to update rail industry leaders at the 2025 GCRE open day in Wales.
